Program Structure

YU Students need to complete 120 credits for the BBA degree:

Delivery Methods

Online Class

Where the professor sets up the learning path, but it is student self-learning at their own pace.

On-Campus Class

A real-time class with a professor on a set schedule. Zoom classes are considered as on-campus classes during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period.

Frequently Asked Questions

Students usually can find the course information from their Moodle account one week prior the term starts. If you cannot find it from Moodle within one week before the term starts, please raise a technical support ticket.

We usually only do section change / add courses before the term starts. However, if it is due to some unpredicted issues, we may
still do it in Week 1.

Yes. Students can withdraw a certain course after the term starts and up until Tuesdays Week 8 to withdraw a course. However,
students will be charged a pro-rata rate for the course withdrawal, and are supposed to maintain the full-time student status after the
withdrawal.

No. Students have to request for the deferral before they start the program.

Courses will be delivered based on a hybrid method.

Yes, if your CGPA is above 2.0 and the academic dean has approved your 5th course request.

Please do not raise new tickets for the same request, as it may slow the response time. Due to the high volume of tickets during the registration period, it may take longer time for our program advisors to reply to you. However, we will work hard on it and try to resolve your problem as soon as possible.

Yes, students are eligible for the PGWP if this is their last
term’s of study and they were full-time students in their program in Canada.

YU students are eligible for taking a scheduled break after
completing 3 consecutive terms of full-time study. Please raise a
ticket for the scheduled break request one or two weeks before the registration period starts. You can place the request up until before the new term starts.

Campus will be open from 9AM to 9 PM on Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday.

No, you do not need to. However, you will need to show your
BC Vaccine card if you want to attend student activities and club.
Students are not recommended to attend classes if they are sick.

Yes, masks are mandatory in class and campus common
areas.

The maximum courses students can take is 5 courses, and
the 5th course should be approved by the academic dean in
advance.
